1998 Winnebago Adventurer RVs for sale

I am the third owner of this RV. Two brothers, one in TX the other in FL had it prior to me and took very good care of it. The windshield frame issue was addressed by me for $7000.00 after purchase and it has had all air bags replaced recently. All maintenance records are current. Cummins and Allison 6 speed run on synthetic. We have a tow 2003 honda that can be sold seperate that uses air from the RV for braking. RV gets driven on the highway each month on its way to the house to charge the batteries overnight.<br />Had alignment checked at JOSAM in Orlando. No Issues and I have the report. JOSAM did the four airbag replacements so she drives nicely. <b>1998 Winnebago Minnie Winnie 429WQ (29ft.) to be sold "as is".</b><br /><br />The Class C coach has a very strong Triton V-10 engine and an odometer that reads 97178 miles on a Ford E-Superduty chassis. It steers, handles, shifts and rides quite well due to proactive maintenance and care. There are no known oil leaks. There are four new Firestone Transforce rear dual wheel tires. The Nexen steering tires are two years old. Spark plugs and coil packs are 2.5 years old. There is a receiver and ball hitch as well.<br /><br />The truck and cabin heat and AC are excellent. The exterior has normal wear for its age. The generator starts and runs well with its new spark plug and oil. The coach has several storage bays that are all clean. The inspection and oil change was done at the end of August. <br /><br />The interior is clean for its age, has hardwood flooring and plenty of storage. All appliances and systems do operate as they should. There are nice interior features that make this coach desirable. This unit could sleep 6. Two smaller (removable) chairs sit in the living area along with the dinette. There are no slide outs or television. It is easy to winterize with a water heater bypass. A full Class C water resistant cover is included also. This is not a perfect coach, but still functions very well for its age. <br /><br />The coach had water infiltration at typical places. The bunk/overcab area was reconditioned and rebuilt as an open space 5 years ago. The shower skylight and shower ceiling have been rebuilt 4 years ago. The awning is solid and functions fine but some of the material surfaces/edges show age.<br /><br />This coach is ready for driving and camping now. It would be good as an inexpensive starter Class C coach, a weekend fun runner or a potential renovation unit. You could buy it, use it and trade up later. Remember, if considering a gas powered motor home, the "Rule of thumb" is not to buy if over 50,000 miles. However, I have been told by my professional diesel mechanic who has maintained this coach over the years that a diesel engine is considered just "Breaking in" at 100,000 miles.
