Williamsburg,Virginia is a great place to soak up sun, fun, and history. The abundance of activities and experiences make Williamsburg the perfect place for a family trip. You know the deal, pack up the kids and fuel up the RV; it’s time for another adventure!
Anvil Campground in Williamsburg has been family owned and operated since 1954 and is the only campground with shuttle service to all of the attractions, restaurants, and shopping you can bear. They also offer a variety of activities in their own right including fishing charters, sightseeing and pleasure cruises, a swimming pool, horseshoes, corn hole, basketball, and an arcade. In addition, Anvil Campground is only 1 mile away from Waller Mill Park where visitors can hike, bike, boat, fish, and even spend time with Fido at the dog park.
Once you’re settled in you can spend time exploring Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. Bush Gardens is a European-themed park with 350 acres of rides, attractions, animal encounters and live shows. With 43 acres of pools, play areas, lazy rivers, and water rides, Water Country USA is a sure fire way to have a wet and wild adventure. And aside from being the mid-Atlantic’s largest water park, Water Country USA is a great place to cool off!
