The Companion Slider took 5 years to develop. “We took time to develop it so that it would be worthy of the B&W Trailer Hitches reputation for quality” stated Marketing Manager, Beth Barlow. The new hitch, that is now part of their family of fifth wheel hitches, made its debut at the SEMA Show in early November. “We are proud to offer a family of fifth wheel hitches to RV enthusiasts. In B&W’s unique fashion, the Companion Slider easily converts to a level bed, freeing up your truck bed for other uses. It is engineered with a patent pending automatic latch in both directions and twelve inches of rearward travel. Automatic latches, in both directions, means getting out of the truck only once to move into maneuvering position. It is rated to tow 18,000 pounds of gross trailer weight. It also has three vertical adjustments, 17″, 18″, 19″. This American-made, fifth wheel hitch comes with a five year limited warranty too.
