Winnebago Industries has launched the first motorhomes in North America built on the Ram ProMaster chassis: the Winnebago Trend, Itasca Viva! and Travato Winnebago Touring Coach.
Known as the Fiat Ducato in Europe, the ProMaster is the best-selling motorhome chassis in the world, with nearly 50,000 coaches built on it annually.
According to Product Manager Russ Garfin, “the low, wide, gasoline-powered chassis allows us to build motorhomes that offer outstanding fuel-efficiency, ride and drivability at a very attractive price.”
Other features of the new chassis include front-wheel drive, lower windshield and door windows for exceptional visibility, flat cab floor and swivel seats, and more than 35 safety and security features.
