Canadian Class B builder Pleasure-Way Industries Ltd. announced the launch of its first Sprinter-based wide-body motorhome, the Pleasure-Way Plateau-XL.
According to a press release, the Pleasure-Way Plateau-XL motorhome is built on the Mercedes-Benz dual rear wheel cab chassis and features the first non-slideout Sprinter to feature a queen-sized Murphy bed.
“Our design team developed an open concept floorplan with a very spacious interior feeling,” said CEO Dean Rumpel. “The queen-sized (60-inch-by-74-inch) Murphy bed neatly folds up into the living room wall creating a large living and dining space.”
At 22 feet in length, the Plateau-XL is “going to meet the needs of the consumer who wants a fuel efficient motorhome that is more maneuverable than a 25-foot coach while offering a little more space and a larger bathroom than a traditional Class B,” Rumpel noted.
Other key features include:
• A large rear bathroom with a 32-inch corian-and-glass shower.
• Multiplex wiring.
• A power 13-foot awning.
• Onan 2.5 Kw LP generator.
• 13,500 Btu roof-top air conditioner.
• Ultraleather upholstery.
• Solid maple cabinetry.
• 32-inch interior LED LCD TV and Blu-Ray player.
• In-dash navigation.
• Fully bonded fiberglass body construction.
• Optional outdoor living entertainment center.
• Optional solar panel.
The Plateau-XL offers a five-year limited coach warranty and boasts an estimated 16-18 miles per gallon highway. Base MSRP: $131,170.
