Used 1973 Streamline T RV
REGENCY
Are you a real human that works for a living? Do you balk at vintage trailers at high prices needing full restorations? Do new fiberglass/vinyl trailers put you off with their low build quality standards? This 1973 Streamline Regency will fit the bill for a pragmatic individual needing all the storage space for full-time use. Streamline trailers have more useful closet storage than Airstreams and their exterior is anodized, meaning no polishing is necessary. This Streamline weighs 4100lbs empty and tows nicely behind a 1/2 ton truck. The Kelsey-Hayes brakes work consistently and reliably. The original propane tanks are in excellent shape and have been recently inspected. The bathroom has a Fantastic Fan with a nice Max-xair hood to prevent water ingress during rainstorms.

This example of a Streamline Regency was well-cared for prior to my ownership. In 2018, the tires were replaced, axles serviced (bearings repacked/resealed), and a Lippert electric tongue jack was installed. Additionally, the roof joints were all resealed and caulked. I did not experience any water ingress during rainstorms.

I improved on the previous owner's track record by doing the following:
Replumbed the entire plumbing system with PEX and crimped fittings, then added a new water pump. I fabricated an aluminum sheet cover for the fresh water fill, which was then professionally caulked. LED marker lights and LED taillights were also wired in and I fabricated custom aluminum sheet to mount the new taillights. A new mattress was purchased in 2021 along with a fresh futon that goes with the trailer. A custom aluminum mounting plate was fabricated and TIG welded to mount the stainless steel Smart Plug connectors for consistent and safe power connections. Fresh Du-pree grey & water dump valve inserts were installed in 2021. A new bathroom faucet was installed to replace the original unit. Finally, custom green velvet curtains were sewn and hemmed for privacy and to nicely accent the trailer's aesthetic.

This trailer has served me very well and I no longer use it full-time due to purchasing a home. It would be a sin to let such a fine example deteriorate due to non-use. A large folder full of manuals, original factory literature, and receipts will accompany the trailer upon a successful sale.
