Selling our “Lo-V” family RV that gave us great adventures. A 2015 50th anniversary edition 28QB Coachman Freelander on a 2014 Chevy 4500 chassis. To note, we found the Chevy platform to have significantly more legroom than the Ford Platform. Lots of recent updates. New wallcoverings and paint throughout, kitchen subway tile covering, shiplap paneling, custom teak sink cover, kitchen racks, reupholstered dinette seating, custom wood work, upgraded LED lighting, new overhead vents, updated bathroom with a cedar feature wall, oval mirror, enlarged sink, and faucet, large radio display with current phone connect software. Increased storage. Sleeps at least 6 with a walk around queen in the rear bedroom, a queen cabover bed, a sofa jackknife, and a dinette bed. The Kitchen has a three burner propane range with microwave oven, a double sink, and a propane/ electric refrigerator to the left of the entry door. There is a good sized pantry just before the step up to the rear bedroom and bath. The kitchen also has ample overhead cabinet storage. Adjacent to the kitchen is 4 person dinette with a jack knife sofa across the aisle. Above is a swing arm tv toward the front cab. To the rear is a step up bedroom with a walk around queen bed that includes a nightstand and shirt closet on one side, and wardrobe on the other, plus overhead storage at the head of the bed. Second TV located in the bedroom. Tons of exterior storage. Rear basement storage has access from 3 sides with added steel shelving and cable clamps and baskets. We’ve put more than 15,000 miles on “Moose” in the two years since we bought her as our very first coach, and we enjoy RVing so much that we’ve decided to upgrade. Our Tiffin has treated us very well throughout the twenty-four states we’ve visited, with a mix of campgrounds, boondocking, and moochdocking. Coach and chassis batteries were replaced in 2021; at which time a Renogy battery monitor was also added. Refrigerator has been upgraded from the original ineffective and dangerous propane system to a JC Refrigeration 12V Freon system – it cools quickly and stays cold, and can be safely run while in motion. Remainder of 6-year warranty is transferrable. Ten USB charging outlets have been installed in various locations, and most interior incandescent lamps have been upgraded to LED. A propane tap is available for connecting portable barbeques or other gas appliances. The third small television has been removed for space, but is included in the purchase. Upholstery and paint are in good condition. Roof was resurfaced in 2022. Tires have tread but are dated 2817 and will need to be replaced soon.<br /><br />Enjoy Tiffen quality and the comfort and quiet of a true class A diesel pusher, in a size that’s manageable for someone new to driving a coach – my first trip after purchase was from Alabama to Massachusetts. 2012 was the last year of the non-DEF models – one less thing to worry about.
