<p>Used 2001 SAFARI ZANZIBAR 3596 for sale</p><p><br></p><p>This is a really high quality motorhome that is uniquely laid out and fitted with great options and a reliable caterpillar and Allison powertrain. Exhaust brake and hydraulic levellers. It has very low miles at 66k.</p><p><br></p><p>She has 2 roof AC units, a propane furnace, propane and electric water heater, and a double door fridge with ice maker. Everything works great. It has a queen size bed in the back and the bedroom has its own slide out. The bathroom has a large shower tub with a huge skylight bubble. The 10 gal water heater gives you plenty of water for a 10+ minute shower.</p><p><br></p><p>Up front is a pullout sofa and dinette with a removable leaf and 2 chairs. The comfy leather driver and passenger seats are power adjustable and swivel around. There is a 30 inch lcd monitor above the center console that can be used for tv or to view the rear facing camera. An onkyo stereo receiver and high end speakers are installed in the front.</p><p><br></p><p>We are (I believe) the second owners and have all of the prior work orders and all original manuals and documents for the coach.</p><p><br></p><p>As for low points, the roof did leak around the solar panel which has now been removed. We repaired the leaks and also had the seals around the AC units replaced while at it. The fluorescent light in the kitchen was also replaced. The result is some staining on parts of the ceiling which we had started cleaning. There is peeling clear coat on parts of the nose and very little on the siding. I would say the carpet is fine but dated. There are a couple of cracked tiles in the rear that aren't bad. Overall lots of little cosmetic issues you'd expect on something this age, but a very solid rig!</p>

You can see the care that went into these builds.<br>We purchased this Trek for our son a year ago so he could go on the road with us while he finished college. We wanted something extremely safe and mechanically sound for him to drive. We made several upgrades such as new electronic dash, furrion 4 way camera system, quick connect valves and SO much more. He is now ready to start his career, so she is up for sale!<br>Full bathroom across the back w tons of storage & counter space in bath & kitchen. There is a fold-out queen-sized sofa and a drop-down queen bed. Blackout curtains side and front, as well as daytime solar shades in front. Dinette was removed for a desk area (see pic). Upholstery all in excellent shape, hardwood in living area, tile in kitchen & bath, carpeted doghouse/front cab.<br>Tires are date code 2022 and shop says they are good from a tread standpoint. There is also a crack in pass side windshield which was there when we purchased.<br>This coach has not gone without an ounce of love or maintenance. There was a leak from a gasket where oil dipstick goes in, so to be safe (with our son driving), we had a certified Workhorse shop in AZ run the ENTIRE drivetrain for ANY existing or potential issues. We had over $4500 worth of mechanical work done just this past October replacing seals, gaskets and maintenance on everything top to bottom. Full engine, brakes and generator service as well. We additionally replaced the engine battery and alternator. This is an awesome, hard to find, 2002 Safari Trek 2430, gas powered by a Vortech 8.1 litre V8 engine with 37,400 miles. The exterior is all aluminum clad with full-body paint in very good condition as is the roof. The coach has 50 amp shore power with a new Xantrex 2500w inverter/charger and is backed up by an Onan 4.0kw microlite generator. The small bus design, at only 26 feet, is easy to drive and maneuver and the coach has a 3-point hydraulic leveling system as well as a new rear camera system, a new steering stabilizer, new batteries and all new tires. The all wheel airbag suspension is solid. The motor has been fully serviced and runs strong and quiet.<br>  The galley contains a larger two-door dual-fuel refrigerator, a three burner stove and microwave. All cabinets/paneling/doors are solid alder with a cherry finish. Countertops are solid Corian in very good condition. The house AC works perfectly.<br>  The Queen size MagicBed stores conveniently in the ceiling and can be raised and lowered with the touch of a button.
