The original converter, Thompson, is no longer in business, so there is no direct support. However, the systems are the same, or similar to, those of the major Prevost converters and repairs are available at most larger motorhome service centers. Prevost Service Centers are located throughout the US and Canada.</p><p>2. The clear coat along the roof and rear cap has minor peeling, You don't see it if you don't look for it.</p><p>3. Air-operated pocket doors (2) require attention. Worked well until recently.</p><p>4. R/S windshield visor motor is inoperative. Prevost does not supply this item, but they say it is commonly available from motorhome service shops.</p><p>5. We want to sell it before winter.</p><p><br></p><p>Why are we selling?</p><p>1. Bus Light Year is for Sale!<br>Bus_light_year started its life as a Nasa shuttle bus at the John F. Kennedy Space Center. This rig was well cared for and babied at Nasa with only 42,000 miles when it was retired. I spent over 18 months building out this high-end luxury conversion off-grid beast! I’ve accomplished 2 cross country round trip excursions with the mileage currently sitting at about 68,000 miles. <br>My goal in building this rig was to have a complete off-grid luxury unit and not have to resort to needing power or water for long periods of time and having to depend on over priced, packed in like sardines RV parks. 2001.5/2018 - Purchased our Discovery in 2018. Then we brought it to Carolina Cat and had anything they could find questionalble replaced. Since then it has been maintained with an open checkbook. <br />Each year she goes to Gaffney SC (that is where the Fleetwood chasis are built) were they offer a yearly maintance program at their Freightliner Service Center. Name your price but no lowballing! Asking price listed.<br>Moving and can't keep. Offering my refreshed RV. I'll be going on a mission.  All systems work flawlessly, even down to the cruise control. The only wear and tear you will find is on the driver & passenger seats. We did not refresh the cab area. The bathroom ceiling has noticeable stain from the previous owner, but no leak or moisture problem as I have maintained the topside. The ceiling is well maintained and solid. <br>This 26' RV sits on a Ford F450 chassis with a Triton V10 that gets up to 10 mpg. There are 55265 miles on the odometer. Power windows & door locks are standard. Cruise control works wonderfully, as does the cab & house A/C. An <br>The AM/FM/cassette radio deck is included. <br>The master bedroom has a new Queen mattress with plenty of storage for clothes and other items. The unit sleeps four very comfortably but can accommodate up to six adults. A small dial safe is onboard and hidden for your valuables, just in case you need a little reassurance. It is large enough to store your revolvers or semi-auto's handguns. <br>The unit has an emergency starting capability in case the engine battery becomes drained.
