This RV was great when our kids were smaller! We took it on a couple long road trips and really only used it to drive back and forth to our land in Oklahoma (while towing a trailer with ATVs). <p>TRUE UNICORN- 1996 SIDE ENTRY DIESEL CHINOOK RV I'm reposting this, due to being strung along for months. Long story that I'm happy to share with you if you saw this up before, or if I told you it was pending when you reached out. It has the legendary, "1,000,000 mile" 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel,, and it runs like a champ. The interior has been updated with vinyl plank flooring, faux suede front seats, reupholstered dinette, new sink, stove and faucets in the bathroom and kitchen. It also has a new a/c unit and water heater. I've thoroughly gone through it, and fixed what needed attention. It's never been in an accident, according to CarFax. Everything in the coach works, and it drives very well down the road.It has 108,000 miles on it, which is just getting started for the 7.3. Please no lowball offers or uneducated snarky comments. There's no way it can be compared to anything else out there. To my knowledge, it's the only side entry diesel Chinook in existence. Do your research, even historically! If you are a diesel guy/gal, and are looking for the ultimate zombie apocalypse vehicle, you've found it. If you want the ULTIMATE bug out vehicle, buy it and convert it to 4WD. <p>In retirement I wanted a classic Newmar for the well-built construction. In 2017 I purchased RV in AZ and in MN I stored coach inside for winter. With health changes I havent used, only maintained, RV in 4 years so its time.This 96 Newmar Mountain Aire with an over-powered Ford 460 V8 & the important Banks powerhouse and new transmission, less than 31,000 miles makes this coach travel ready. The Granning Air-Glide suspension W new air bags make for a smooth ride. All 8-tires have less than 3,000 miles, same with water pump, fuel pump, water lines, F&R brakes & Interstate batteries. All repairs & updates are verifiable. The front end, hydraulic lift, generator & engine all serviced before storing. RV is 100% solid and ready to make memories.The rooftop felt weak at F&R so I replaced with ¾ inch plywood, rubber top layer, molding and sealant for the entire roof along with four coatings of heat reflective RV paint & updated the antenna & security system. The construction photos show RV fully insulated against hot or cold weather. The two heat pumps for air/heat are ducked in ceiling & floor & the electric water heater provide rare use of propane. The 50 amp connection is required for running the 2 heat pumps. Emergency electrical comes from the solar panel system, generator and coach batteries.Interior is excellent with a super-slide. Kitchen includes real-wood cabinets, 3-burner range/hood, microwave/convection unit & FS refrigerator/freezer, 2 sinks, ample counter space, 6 gallon electric hot and filtered water system, 2 fire extinguishers, large pantry & 2-seat dinette. The front has exterior sun-screen window covers, auxiliary fans throughout, above dash backup camera, cruise, tilt wheel, power drivers seat, power mirrors, and in-dash stereo/CD/Bluetooth/MP3 that plays throughout W bedroom shut-off. A slide-out fireplace and one couch sleep 2 and the other sleep 1. 2 flat screens & DVD players & Roku.
